Well, despite my good intentions, the fit club gym is so busy today that I’m not able to actually exercise. Which is actually really depressing.

Off to M&S bakery instead.

A friend of mine is an artist, I know creating art like this takes so much intricate work and is worth the price tag. They get criticism for pricing at their worth which is so unfair.

When my loved one kicked me in the face screaming at me bc I wouldn't let them get up (they had a broken hip and were waiting for surgery), it was like something being torn out of my chest. They're my sweet person. Then suddenly they weren't there. The kick didn't physically hurt, but it broke me.

He's still your hero. What he is to you is not the disease. I'm sorry. I'm going through something similar (though late stage). It's an absolute monster.

If it's not already happened, he needs a memory clinic assessment organised via a GP. In my area they can do these at home, but it varies. Once that's complete, then various things start happening. There are meds that can stabilise some early level dementia for a time. Again, assessment is key.

It's a horrific disease. It's a heartbreaking disease. It asks us to do things we find devastating, and to see & bear the brunt of the sufferer's devastation. I'm so sorry you're going through this.

From my own experience in the UK, I've found support from Age UK and Carer's charities really helped

I'm getting suspicious. This is two good days in a row. Done my admin, read some quirky stuff, updated my Commonplace book, and now have tea in the oven. My body feels unusually settled.

Oh lord, wish I'd seen this on my charity shop stroll this morning. Entire racks of pink and red. Hearts everywhere.

I had a good day today. Nothing special, by most people's metric, but a day when my body complied and had fun at the gym, when I picked up a beautiful Hobbs blazer & a Boden dress for £10, when my cooking was actually pretty edible, and now I'm warm and snug with my boys.
