A bus route helped this couple's cross-border romance bloom. Tariffs are shutting it down After several decades, the city of Windsor, Ontario is ending its cross-border bus to Detroit. Two regular riders reflect on what it means to them.

Despite what the mayor wants us to believe, tunnel bus riders aren’t just Canadians heading to the US for events and shopping. Check out this clip from NPR about a couple’s cross-border romance and how the decision to cancel the tunnel bus is shutting it down.

Wishing our community a very Happy Canada Day 🇨🇦 If you plan to take the bus today, don’t forget that they’re running on a Sunday schedule. Plus, the Transway 1A, Transway 1C, Central 3, Ottawa 4 & Tunnel routes will be on detour Tuesday July 1st due to the Canada Day Parade.

🕕 Pick up will start approx. 6pm at Devonshire mall until 9:30pm.

📍Due to construction, the pick up stand will be by the Taxi Stand by the bus station!

⏎ Return services start right after the fireworks and run until approx 12:15am OR until all passengers have boarded the bus.

It’s fireworks night 🎆 If you’re taking transit to watch the big show (shuttle or bus), tag us in your photos!

You can take the bus for free after 6pm!

Zehrs is also providing free shuttles to and from the Ford Fireworks 🎆 +

City Of Windsor Launches School Extras Transition Plan The City of Windsor has launched the School Extras Transition Plan, designed to support students at four local high schools as they shift to using regular Transit Windsor services effective this upco....

The school bus extras were eliminated in this years budget. Beginning this spring, City staff will be visiting the impacted schools to connect directly with students to provide information and hands-on support.
