'While Gaza faces a humanitarian catastrophe of starvation and war, the exhibition, Saved Treasures of Gaza, at Paris’s Institut du Monde Arabe brings what curators called a sense of “urgency” to explain the rich history of a place that has been a crossroads of cultures since Neolithic times.'

Rent starts at $455 in new apartments aimed at Kansas City’s affordability gap Fifty units, including 42 for residents with lower incomes, open on Guadalupe Center’s elementary school campus as KC faces a housing gap.

The new Villa View complex created by Guadalupe Centers is a great example of how we can lower housing costs by strengthening public-private partnerships, utilizing federal tax policy and private construction to build more affordable housing.

Texas State System dissolves faculty senates, eroding professors' influence on campuses While other universities move to preserve the advisory bodies, Texas State will abolish them under a new state law that curtails faculty’s influence on campuses.

Ummm, this is bad. Very very bad.

Rethinking the Luddites in the Age of A.I. Brian Merchant’s new book, “Blood in the Machine,” argues that Luddism stood not against technology per se but for the rights of workers in the face of automation.

Today, the word “Luddite” is used as an insult to anyone resistant to technological innovation. But a recent book argues that Luddism stood not against technology per se but for the rights of workers in the face of automation.

Just read a newspaper article that referred to tariffs as "federal import taxes" which seems like a good way to bypass the widespread confusion among readers over who pays for tariffs.

In BUG VAUDEVILLE, Winsor McCay creates the illusion of a spider attacking a member of the theater audience.

This gag would later show up in multiple Looney Tunes cartoons with the characters shooting a silhouette audience member.

This is just a weird post, guys. I saw the screen capture / video, but when I checked it out with my lying eyes I noticed —

1. The video is from the wayback machine on archive.org not congress.gov.
2. constitution.congress.gov/constitution still shows articles 9 and 10.

Have you ever published a story, poem or essay online, only to have the venue fold and your work disappear?

It's not fun, but there is a good technique that can help you out.

I put together a quick video that shows how to find a saved copy of your work: youtu.be/v_Pym4yd528

If I have to explain to you why it's a bad idea to use a machine that makes shit up 15-80% of the time AND destroys the environment AND contributes to rising fascism and genocide AND puts brilliant skillful creatives out of work by stealing their work, then we're already speaking different languages

Trump Went to War With the Ivies. Community Colleges Are Being Hit.

As a community college professor with 25 years of experience I’m always interested in seeing how community colleges are portrayed by the press.

Overall, good article, but it does feel written by someone who doesn’t quite understand our role in our communities.
