Four months ago, the 70 residents of the flats at the end of Victoria Avenue watched as an East Bristol Liveable Neighbourhood ‘modal filter’ was installed outside. Their food waste & recycling hasn’t been collected since.

Most places in Bristol do not have a direct bus service to Temple Meads.

True. I'll check out if there's a net increase in car parking, because I was told the new southern car park was just replacing existing parking around the rest of the station. Overall, the bus hub at Temple Friars will be an improvement.

People who read the Bristol Post have been reading about this idea since about 2021. It's part of the whole big changes at Temple Meads thing.

tbf this is a longstanding Labour plan to do away with the car parking on the north side of TM, solve the absolute mess that is the front of the station where buses, taxis, ubers & short stay parking is
A bus transport hub to the north, parking & drop off to S & a clear entrance.
