Most places in Bristol do not have a direct bus service to Temple Meads.
Addressing that absolutely ridiculous situation would reduce people travelling to/from there by car, but no one ever does.

True. I'll check out if there's a net increase in car parking, because I was told the new southern car park was just replacing existing parking around the rest of the station. Overall, the bus hub at Temple Friars will be an improvement.
The front of the station is chaos atm

tbf this is a longstanding Labour plan to do away with the car parking on the north side of TM, solve the absolute mess that is the front of the station where buses, taxis, ubers & short stay parking is
A bus transport hub to the north, parking & drop off to S & a clear entrance.
It's a decent idea
