Last of the quartet bought at Mudshark Records in Bangor. Haven’t actually listened to this album in a good few years, one of my favourites at uni even quoted Mr Mathers in a few of my assignments, a little pretentious I know.

The Alan Wake 2 soundtrack was an instant favourite whilst I played the game. This boxset which includes the chapter songs became a must to add to the collection.

Part 2 of the Sam Fender journey. This is the indies only picture disc picked up from the ace Reflex Records in Newcastle. Oh and I really love the art work.

Thinking I need to do a few full catalogue listens over the next few weeks. Starting with this impressive young man. I was sceptical when I first heard the hype but this a is really accomplished debut that wears its heart and influences firmly on its sleeve.

Game 7 of the year and it was a blast (mostly literally). Doom: The Dark Ages is easily a contender for my game of the year. Fast, frantic and full of exploding demons. It was great to play and felt very much like a trip back to the 90s with a full heavy metal aesthetic

Always The Thing or Big Trouble in Little China

It’s a knock out?

Game 6 of the year; delved into the backlog for this one. Stray is a lovely chilled game, doesn’t over stay its welcome and has a well told story with some nice world building. It also has some pretty cool references to be seen.

Game 5 (and a bit) compete for the year. Completed the DLC for Star Wars: Outlaws (that’s the a bit) some fun elements and the SW universe is a great playground but flawed. Then The Plucky Squire, really pretty and fun, like the Yoshi games. Cool throwbacks and references, mini games are annoying.

Love this album.
