My answer: Final Fantasy VX pocket edition HD - a complete underhaul of the original, maintaining the story at a compressed run time, swapping the combat to something more akin to Hades with 3DS style graphics.

QotW: Parasite Eve 1 and 2 are the first to come to mind, they masquerades as Resident Evil clones but are more akin to Vagrant Story in execution. And I don't play them but the Football Manager games are secretly just RPGs with random encounters swapped out for football matches. 6, 7 deadbeats.
