It's Women in Translation Month! I'll be posting about works in translation written by women, starting of course with Marilia Arnaud, the brilliant Brazilian writer whose work I translate. Here's my translation of her story collection. I'm seeking a publisher for her novels.

I chop them and add them for some delicious crunch to my version of Caprese salad--cherry tomatoes and cubed mozzarella (rather than the usual sliced, larger tomatoes and sliced mozzarella) make for a faster dish. And of course, add olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and fresh chopped basil.
