Reading and hearing stuff like this makes me really disappointed and sad.

Counterpoint: always pay full price for your indie games so the devs can maybe earn enough money that they can afford to eat.

Writing good horror is challenging and fun. But writing good short horror stories that are playable AND of a scope that is manageable to actually develop for a tiny team is really difficult and sometimes feels crushing. But we are making progress!
