The Steam Frame checks all the boxes for what I've wanted in a VR headset - with the small exception of the lack of color passthru and hand tracking, but I know there may be "workarounds" - and feels like the combo of what I liked in Quest 3 + VIVE Focus 3, without all the Meta/book nonsense.

You said it yourself, Alex - people are fed up with Windows and hungry for alternatives. I can see PlayStation + SteamOS being more compelling to a lot of people than PlayStation + XBox. If it weren't for FSR4 in Win11 on my 9070 XT performing so well, I would have been in Bazzite the past 3 weeks.

new from me today: not all data centers are created environmentally equal — and building them in states with cleaner grids and more access to water could go a long way in preventing environmental catastrophe

Very aware of it, and unfortunately its very under-funded and isnt accepted by all providers and healthcare organizations. We need a properly funded plan that will allow Californians go whereever it makes the most sense for their needs, and as helpful as Medi-Cal is, it's the bare minimum.
