Do you stir my heart?
When dawn breaks
His melancholy heart
Is recalled in loneliness.
There heliotropes
In my bed I think of that gentleman"

An evening dress is silk even in the dark
Unsmiling eyes stared
But
Look a moonlit night
His purple cigar smoke
Smoking sorrowfully
Ah isn't that the scent of heliotropes?
MY IDOL is
Heliotrope Harry.

This film (and its star, playing a dashing criminal named Heliotrope Harry) was the subject of a poem by a female Japanese film fan who went by the name of MIZUHO, published in a magazine in 1929!:

"Clive Brook

At night on the street the flowers I buy

滑稽風俗 （ー）

寒暖の節分、俗に厳越しといふ晩に「福は内鬼は外」と叫んで豆を蒔散らすが、九鬼家では姓が鬼であるから「福は内鬼は内」と云ふたさうだ
此節分の晩に大阪では「枕はづし賣り」と云ふ事

枕はづし賣りとは枕をはづして髪を亂だす癖のある若い娘共が他の家の戸口で小聲に「枕はづしはいりませんか」と云ふ、其時家内の者が「何ですか」といへば「枕ばづし賣りました」と云ふて逃げる歸る（滑稽な押賣だ）さすれば以來枕をはづさぬと云ふ迷信からである
