Finished Era of The Eclipse now. I won't spoil it for anyone who may see this but I can say this has become my favorite book of yours.
It may be recency bias but for now it is the top dog.
Yeah I love this one, read it for the first time this summer

Finally finished reading this. It took months because I kept bawling and putting it aside for a while
A queer avoidant/anxious romance about a road trip to fulfill the last wishes of a beloved dying mentor figure
Made in a lab to make me cry
There's only one film that should be screened in the Las Vegas Sphere. The single most appropriate movie. You know the one. A late 90s scifi thriller with horror elements. I'm of course talking about Cube (1997)
02.08.2025 18:36 β π 36 π 5 π¬ 2 π 0My original outline had my cast split up a lot more but itβs so fun to have them playing off each other. I will have to separate them soon for story reasons but Iβm letting them banter and trade barbs a while longer first
02.08.2025 20:52 β π 9 π 0 π¬ 0 π 02500 words on the book today and my outline has gone off the rails at this point but this version is better anyway
02.08.2025 20:49 β π 24 π 0 π¬ 2 π 0god this book I'm writing is just COOKING, I am having so much fun
(The Jewel and the Comet, sequel to The Knife and the Serpent. Now EVEN MORE kinky and genderqueer)
So many billions spent on the build out of infrastructure for a product that hardly anyone is willing to pay to use.

Someone on here said that videogames offer a fantasy of predictable rewards for one's work, which in real life might not be rewarded at all. I think about it a lot!

One of my favorite bits in the Axiom books was having characters centuries in the future quoting the Douglas Adams βspace is bigβ line and having characters be like βas Shakespeare said. Or was it Chaucerβ
