My first ever beetle pinning!

My partner found this guy on the ground already passed a few months ago. The sides are a beautiful bronze hint almost pinkish. I believe it’s a European ground beetle but please correct me if that’s incorrect!

Amazing resource! Last December, I took a 🍄 mushroom dying class from the creator of The Mushroom Color Atlas, Julie Beeler.

I’ve dyed fabric using Lobster mushrooms and went on to find some Shaggy Mane mushrooms to make ink out of.

While I am stuck at home with a concussion I thought I’d share a project I finished last week! I dried a bunch of flowers with silica gel beads and pinned all the bees except the carpenter bees myself! I really want to do more pieces like this.
