I would go for an medium-sized passenger ship. But instead of luxury cabins, we get mk2 cabins where you can fit more people. The real reason for the ship is that you can bring your whole team fast to operation sites.

Over the time the design has grown on me. I still like the beaky Version. Reminds me of a Yacht.

As an example: Special missions where you could do some bounty hunting and in exchange you get like certain tonnage of progress on a station.

In Addition/ Alternatively: like certain conditions you have to fulfill to unlock a station type or structure to later build. Like hand in X planet scans.

Hatte ich zunächst auch angenommen, ist wohl nicht der Fall. Qualifizierung: Bin nur Student mit eingeschränkter Sicht auf die aktuelle Situation in der Wirtschaft.

Wir reden aber teilweise über stark Angepasste Lösungen in relativ kleinen Segmenten.

Beim Seperaten Rechner Stimme ich zu, wird häufig schon gemacht um Lizenskosten zu sparen. Der (fehlende) Ersatzt ist eher das Problem. Der in meinen Augen auch nicht so schnell aufzuholen ist.

In Verwaltung ja, ich rede über Spezialisierte Software wie z.B. CAD für Bestimmte Branchen oder Simulations Programme. Die meist kaum unter was anderem als Windows (auch nicht emuliert laufen). Viele dieser Programme sind selber aus den USA.

In vielen Bereichen kann man amerikanische Software nicht oder nur mit großen Kosten ersetzten. Ich bin Maschinenbau Student und viele notwendige Software (meist aus Amerika) läuft nur auf Windows.

Ich fürchte viele wollen das nicht sehn, geschweige denn handeln. Ich sehe das schon bei mir, der Gedanke ggf. aus Sicherheitsüberlegungen meine Nutzung von Apple und Amazon zu überdenken löst bei mir Widerstand aus. Und das ist im Vergleich gerade zu Trivial.

Was mir dabei am meisten Sorgen macht ist wie tief Amerikanische Unternehmen in unseren digitalen Systemen Stecken. Alleine die Möglichkeiten zur Wirtschaftsspionage ganz geschweige von noch aggressiveren Maßnahmen.

Ich meine in seiner Lage würde ich das öffentlich auch sagen um mir nicht vorwerfen zu lassen das Auszuschließen. Ich hoffe in privaten Gesprächen ist man da realistischer.

Initial thoughts: The Corsair as a Jack-Off All Trades with little drawbacks worries me a bit of being to op. The Mandalay is already a bit over the line for my taste.

Most hyped: The attention Elite gets from the developers. Colonization is huge and Vanguard sounds interesting.
