I previously played this on someone else’s PS5, but now I have my own. It’s a fun, if basic, platformer that’s a great showcase for the PS5. I imagine Astro Bot is a lot more fleshed out, so I’m excited to play that eventually.

Funnily enough, Mandy Moore didn't actually come back for KH3 even though Rapunzel is in that game. I'm not totally sure why.

Square’s incompetence when it comes to compression is the reason why we got the Kingdom Hearts games on cloud instead of native ports. The Switch 2 definitely doesn’t have a whole lot of storage when you think about it and Nintendo is at fault for that, but the blame is still mostly on Square.

I kind of feel that way but I think that’s just because the DLC leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I still remember the base game very fondly.

As usual the GOTY nominees end up dominating all the other categories too.

In a year with so many incredible games we end up awarding just a small few.

We should come up with different categories that can accommodate a wider variety of games and even award the people who make them.

Audio tended to get desynced during cutscenes, especially long ones. The end of chapter 12 was the biggest example of this.

City Trial is peak, though the experience of actually getting into a game was pretty annoying at times. I don’t particularly care for Air Ride from what I’ve played. Hopefully I’ll find more to enjoy in the final game.

I read a thread about games with terrible UI earlier and this video has been destroying me all day.

XDE's battle simulator and with 3's training drills returning would definitely be helpful for a lot of people.

Cool game. Pretty frustrating at times, but I still had a lot of fun with it.

Oh yeah, looks like that’s a texture pack. I think the remake from that video isn’t something the creator plans to release.

I believe that‘s just a proof of concept or a personal project, but it’s definitely really cool
