Steep learning curve. Turns out you really mustn’t forget to dust the ravioli board and pasta sheet with flour. Once we had that sussed, it went well.

Result was extremely delicious. Filling was spinach/ricotta/parmiggiano 😋

I was given an ms on Friday night (after the laptop had officially been shut) and it needed reviewers to be assigned.

That was only done on Monday when normal business hours resumed. I suppose that otherwise the ms handling platform would probably have sent similar reminders out.

Got an invite to review a paper on Friday night from a well-known clinical journal. Followed by an abrupt & demanding reminder early Sunday morning

I wonder why it is increasingly difficult to get willing quality reviewers these days?🤷‍♂️

Unsurprisingly I declined the offer to review
