The autistic crash out right after, where I beat myself up for every social misstep I made during that conversation: less great

Speaking a romance language, I was tripping over every adjective to not out myself basically, so speaking about myself without thinking about it twice is really nice

It's my first year being out as transmasc at work and it's really stressful in some ways but sooo liberating in others. Did not realize how much self-censorship was happening on a day to day basis, to students and colleagues alike

I did come out as trans/non-binary to my superior but I did say I didn't necessarily want an admin change because I was going to take things slow. Now I don't pass and I have to explain to everyone why I'm suddenly Mr.
They're trying their best but I wished they'd asked me before making the change

Problem 1: they changed the way intraschool emails work and emails sent or received by me display my deadname in the email address

Problem 2: they made me "Mister" everywhere without asking if I wanted that

2 gender related things happening at work that are kind of out of my control and stress me out

This is not going to be a chill back to school season let me tell you

Just ran my first 3km without breaks!

I wanted to register for a 3km race near where I live but turns out everything under 10km is exclusively for CHILDREN

Anyways we'll see if I get to 10km before March but I doubt it 😭

It's a nightmare. Lots of cool people it's just hard to... get to the friends part

I have successfully wrangled one (1) colleague into making plans tomorrow. Plans made the day before are NOT ideal for my brain but I am THAT determined to make these people my friends lol

Anyways making friends as a neurodivergent adult. It's hard.

Desperately trying to make friends in this city but getting coworkers I like together in the same place at the same time is worse than finding a date for my next D&D session everyone agrees on

Anyway I'm confused, but it's good? I want everything to change and nothing to change at all??? Looking at myself hoping for changes but feeling weird unidentified feelings when I noticed them?????

Autistic inherent dislike for change and difficulty understanding what I'm feeling vs. trans need to transform my body and recent testosterone changes, FIGHT!

If someone tells you you're not naturally gifted at something, the appropriate response is to become unnaturally gifted at it, which is even cooler

The first thing you need to do if you want to be an ally to trans people is realize that transphobia is an almost entirely socially acceptable form of bigotry, to the point that even seeing it AS bigotry is controversial almost everywhere.

It can be hidden, joked about, and used to gaslight trans people and seen as the "normal way" to do things.

And for us to speak up, or out, about it is unnatural. It's like the cis are doing us a favour by letting us exist within their world.
