Probably not, but that doesn't mean I have to pretend that I think Labour, under Starmer, are any better than the tories. Or that they have any chance of winning in my constituency. The only way to keep Reform out in my constituency is to vote Tory.

I saw that. Branded your reasoned arguments as a sanctimonious, shrieking, shouting echo chamber. And then blocked you because you disagreed with their echo chamber – with no sense of irony.

To Labour supporters in Gorton and Denton: are you loyal to traditional Labour values (from before Starmer & Co. threw them out the window in order to chase right-wing votes)... or are you just loyal to the name "Labour"?

Because if you want an MP who fights for YOU, you should vote Green this time

I don't share your opinion of him. I think he's dishonest and weak.

13.02.2026 17:55 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

True. Those still defending him only care about the colour of the rosette.

I can't understand why any of them would continue to support him. The only arguments I get are that he's not a tory and he's not Reform. You can't lead a country or a party simply by being NOT something.

The membership are increasingly at odds with the leadership. Eg. The membership voted in favour PR, but Starmer isn't interested in that. He was voted as leader on the back of a list of pledges he ditched within a year. He has no regard for the wishes of the Labour membership.

in his leadership campaign – none of these things scream decency or integrity to me.

"Decent man," just pro-Starmer hype like "forensic Starmer." Remeber that? Where were his forensics when he vetted Mandleson?

Whether it's offering 'unqualified support' for a genocidal regime (and arresting grannies who oppose it), making a paedophile's friend an ambassador, cutting benefits to children and people with disabilities (and purging MPs who disagree with it), or simply reneging on every single promise he made

As a barrister, you defend (or prosecute) according to the wishes of your client (or the state). Defending a murderer doesn't make you pro-murder – you just try to win your cases because that's your job. I've seen little evidence of Starmer's alleged integrity or decency.

Well. We'll see.

Very little, I suspect. Contrary to the impression he gives, Starmer is not a completely blank canvas onto which an advisor can paint their vision.
Starmer made McSweeney his Chief of Staff because he liked the cut of his jib. I suspect he will replace him with somebody of a similar ilk.

It's a great suggestion – really good advice. Unfortunately, Starmer seems to prefer to take bad advice.

I'm a Generation-Xer, but I'm not sure who it is that I'm supposed to hate the most. Boomers, Millennials, or Gen-Z. Please advise. (Don't want to let my team down.)

"We were going to manipulate her!"

Manipulate her into doing what? Not murdering? Telling you who the other traitors were? Or manipulate her into not murdering you?
