Still have a list of things to do today, mostly tidying up, and making sure I packed everything I need to pack.

I put in to get off 2 hours early today, so 4pm instead of 6pm, but I also woke up with a headache today. 😑

And this is also exactly why I got pet cameras last year for while I’m away, so that if something seems amiss, I can alert whoever is checking on them, since I know my cats better than anyone, but like. It’s still kind of hard to relax.

Having senior animals is stressful when it’s time to go on vacation. I know the girls will most likely be fine, and I know they’ll be in good hands with my mom and @coreypoetry.bsky.social checking in daily, but the worry what something could come up while I’m not here is a source of deep anxiety.

Specifically Into Darkness. 2009 and Beyond were fine.

Yeah. I’m wondering if it is because we were there close to closing today? The last time was mid-morning and busy so maybe that time they just had other things going on. IDK. But usually it’s chill.

Usually true! Today they were actually medium sized dogs. There was another lady when I was leaving. There was NO ONE on the dog entrance side! The lobby is open, but the waiting areas are separate for the comfort of the animals. Ignoring it is just so obnoxious.

This doesn’t apply to you! You aren’t rude and neither have your dogs been rude! LOL A lot of dog people walk around entitled, and with untrained dogs. It’s really annoying.

And my cats are okay with dogs, they grew up with dogs. But not all cats are cool with dogs. And some dogs are not cool with cats. So why would you risk it? The entrance leads to the same lobby, and the dog side was empty of people waiting. It’s rude.

Why are dog people so inconsiderate? My vet office has a cat entrance and a dog entrance and this is the second time I’ve been here that someone with a dog has come in and waited on the cat side. It’s never someone with a chill dog either. Always a hyperactive dog.

It’s raining today. I’m wondering when they’re going to fucking do these repairs.

I went around speaking to everyone with a tarp a couple of weeks ago, when I noticed that lady’s tarp hanging on by one sandbag. Everyone is pissed about this still being an issue.

One lady in a nearby building lost hers, like that thing blew loose a couple of weeks ago in high winds (rapid temperature change), and then this past weekend, it blew off completely.

So myself and 4 other units in my complex have had roof leaks. Everyone got a tarp on their roof in October after a particularly bad storm. We have had a few days this year of high winds. My tarp has stayed in place. 3 others have gotten theirs blown partially out of place.

Watching Bugonia. There was a shot of a random plaza with a Piggly Wiggly and a Dollar General. I’m like 99% certain I’ve driven past that location rather recently. I looked up filming locations, and sure enough, they filmed some exterior shots in Georgia around where I drove through in December.
