I’ve mentioned this before, but if you’re short on cash but have an urge to shop, go to your library digital apps and browse the books, audiobooks, movies, shoes, magazines. It works really well to give you the same feeling without spending the cash. (Plus you’re supporting public libraries.) 💙📚

Yeah, I don’t hold well-intentioned mistakes against bookstores. We’ve all been there! Non-bookstores, though, have done this quite a bit recently with big releases without seeming to care as much (Target, Walmart, and Amazon were a mess with Iron Flame last year).

Anyway, this cracked me up.

I’m unfortunately behind on reading the rest of the series, but Black Sun is amazing and needs more hype!

I’ll admit this is my second try on it. I originally quit about that far in for that reason, but since the audiobook is so short, I thought it would be worth a second shot (that, and the author quoted Sagan during her awards speech). Will see!

Listening to Orbital and wondering, “So when do they realize they aren’t alone? When does the spaceship get lost? When do people start mysteriously dying? Oh yeah, it’s not that kind of space book.”
