Why do businesses need to be responsible for employees health insurance, 1/2 of social security and Medicare, and unemployment (federal and state), sick pay (up to 48 hours)? This is so 1950’s when businesses needed to attract good employees. Asking for a friend.

To me, if it doesn’t affect my life directly, I concentrate on what I can control. I have things to do, responsibilities. So if it’s not affecting me directly, I don’t think about it that much.
