Yes, toxic masculinity is damaging to boys and girls. I don't think our protection of girls should be seen entirely as a negative, and it is out of some concern. But...I think boys are in need both of protection from themselves and the world, and similarly to girls, because they are children also.

Think about the many, many political ads. "Boys will be in your daughter's bathroom. Men are playing women sports". I'm not saying that shouldn't be protected, only asking where is that consideration for boys?
