I certainly would highlight that study in both the proposal and vertebrate care use section. Also in the response try to give progeny yield numbers etc. And draw their attention to the vertebrate section for details perhaps

And where exactly are the supposed to haul their belongings to for the holidays? Universities are no longer for 'education'. The obscene amount of endowments need to be used to stripped away. It's not used for fees, faculty/grad student/postdoc salary/stipend, or lab infrastructure or scholarships.
