There were definitely days that felt like a Real Housewives situation or days where real harm in the community had to be addressed. In those situations maybe it was for the best that the critical mass of nerds were splintered. Gave people a chance to rebuild and curate their fandom spaces

Yeah, seems like BlueSky and Threads got the most carryover, can’t wait for open network protocols to allow everybody to reconnect again. It’s like Season 1 of Ahsoka, we just gotta believe we’ll find a way to our friends in Peridia

I still am genuinely thankful for the Twitter community I was able to find (many still there) and carve out for myself. Where YouTube failed me and when Reddit was starting to fail me with TROS hate invading even “good” Star Wars subreddits, I was able to find ST fans I could proudly be open around.
