I went into the spare room earlier to get something, and when I opened the door, it fell off. 😮The two screws on the top hinge pulled right out of the jamb.

I had to fight to get it propped up out of the way (the bottom hinge is intact). I wonder how long it'll take to get the landlady to fix that.

but I had to download something to let them check my system (to check my internet speed and connection, make sure I had the required computer specs, etc.), so they probably already know that my computer has a camera. Drat.

So...my orientation is tomorrow. The instructing staff will be on camera and it's highly encouraged that if we, also, have webcams, we turn them on.

I do have a camera on my laptop, but lordy, I don't wanna be on camera. I only have it because it's preinstalled. I would pretend I don't have one,

On the upside to this mess of a day...

It was so windy, every last walnut has finally fallen from the tree in my yard. Considering I've already hauled 4 cartloads* of nuts and debris to the back of my property just this week, I'm very happy to know the end is in sight!

*It's a 15 gallon cart!

Thank you! It was certainly a mess of a day. Power came and went again once more, and finally stayed on about 2:30. Once I was sure it was gonna stay on, I immediately made myself a grilled cheese and some soup!

But lordy, my body hurts so bad from shivering in the cold all day. Eek.
