Similarly, Mary Chung's in Central Square in Cambridge. I'm still too sad about its closing to put it into words properly, so just adding a note to your post. β€οΈπ€€
19.01.2026 04:36 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0This is such a cool idea! Not long term "networks" of young profs that create and cement in in-groups and out-groups, but summer schools, tailored to the acute needs of the young PI. Transient, but tailored, tidal and totally timeous, too. Terrific. Try today!
16.01.2026 06:52 β π 9 π 4 π¬ 1 π 0Hey folks Calvary Food Shelf has been helping out people in Minneapolis for 30 years, and now theyβre ramping up to meet the crisis, including doing home deliveries so people donβt have to risk going out.
Theyβre just over halfway to their current goalβletβs get them all the way, shall we?
I am hoping that notebook has 69 pages and each one is filled out similarly

10.01.2026 20:25 β π 24 π 27 π¬ 0 π 0The text at the top reads, "ASNR Virtual Mentoring Program Stories". Below there is a quote from Dr. Charalambos "Bobby" C. Charalambous: βBeing part of the Virtual Mentoring Program, as both mentee and mentor, has been one of the most meaningful components of my engagement with ASNR. For trainees and early-career investigators, it offers targeted support and a sense of community; for more senior faculty, it is a structured, impactful way to give back while continuing to grow professionally.β ASNR's logo is included below, and there is a headshot photo of Bobby on the left.
How can ASNR's Virtual Mentorship Program help you in your career? Dr. Bobby Charalambous shares his experience with the program, both as a mentee and mentor, in a new blog article! π§ π π§ π

For example if a modeler works with an NHP lab, would they be included? And I assume this includes purely medical research eg surgical transplant labs etc?
