Support & Defend is here to help veterans organize and lend our credibility to the growing calls to hold those violating the U.S. Constitution responsible and to relieve our siblings still serving from this impossible choice.
17.01.2026 17:44 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Only Congress and the Senate can legally act to bring accountability to a lawless Executive through impeachment.
Until then. the Trump Administration will continue to demand that our service members violate the rights of American citizens and legal residents while breaking their own oaths.
As we begin 2026, service members must choose between following unlawful orders and following the Constitution and Article 92 of the UCMJ. As veterans, this goes against everything we swore an oath to uphold - and defying the orders of those responsible is the only morally appropriate response.
17.01.2026 17:40 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0The Trump Administration has issued many orders that the courts have determined to be unlawful, and members of the Cabinet - including the Secretaries of Defense and Homeland Security - have ignored the courts and the Bill of Rights to send federal agents and federalized troops into American cities.
17.01.2026 17:38 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0They must also be careful not to comment, post, or link to material that violates the UCMJ or Service regulations.
Examples include showing contempt for public officials, or posting unprofessional material that is prejudicial to good order and discipline under the UCMJ.
CYA, guys
This one is important. Note the restriction!

This link explains what active military members and Federal Employees can and cannot do politically.
Veterans have a duty to those still serving to speak out against unlawful orders and unlawful actions when those still serving can't speak out due to legal limits on their free speech, as they are required by law and policy to remain "nonpartisan" - a term that many people don't understand.
17.01.2026 17:25 β π 1 π 1 π¬ 0 π 0Support and Defend is not affiliated with a political party. We hold a variety of political views but we agree on this: We are using our trusted status as Veterans to talk to our communities and our military about current misuse of the military and the right to refuse unlawful orders.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents take a formal oath to support and defend the U.S. Constitution, promising to uphold federal laws and their duties, which includes abiding by constitutional limits as they enforce immigration laws. This oath is a core part of their federal service.

Protests here and around the country last night over ICE shooting a protester and spinning it as self def.
Watch the video from every angle you can before supporting that narrative.
ICE isn't our military, but this is what happens when armed forces are used against civilians.
Thank you, Tad. We need to unite to have any hope of effecting change. We definitely appreciate your help.
