A reference sheet for the living version of the character Fauna. They're an anthro doe with tan and purple fur, seafoam green eyes, and a berry-pink nose and hooves. Sometimes they're aided by a pair of round spectacles. The center image portrays them binding vertebrae and ribs to a tanned fur hide. The sheet explains that Fauna is a witch who utilizes pieces of deceased animals in their shape-shifting magic. Her private projects take the form of ritualistic bone garb, through which she can shift her body to an alarming degree. Such experiments are hidden from public view. Fauna brings small, stable potions and talismans to market in order to make ends meet. Huddled at the bottom of the page are an assortment of these lesser works, including glowing wet specimens and bones wrapped in symbol-clad beads. To the left we discover how Fauna collects ingredients for her craft— with guidance from her turkey vulture familiar. Their matching colors hint that they were paired by fate.

A reference sheet for the undead sequel of the character Fauna. Her fur is now as green as the moss that grows on it, scarcely covering the purple bones lay underneath. Front hooves shifted into gnarled claws, teeth sharpened into fangs, and tail and tongue alike split and stretched in twain. Grasses, ferns, and ivies grow clustered together to form an untamed mane and tail. Large, branch-like bone protrusions spread from her forehead to her back; the amount in frequent flux in accordance to her mood. Still, her eyes are seafoam green. Fauna's undead, ever-changing monstrous physique was the result of a lifetime of practicing necromantic shape-shifting witchcraft. She has no regrets. In unlife she takes up the mantle of a forest spirit; simultaneously ethereal and horrific. Civilization largely steers clear of her. However, on special occasions, an encounter with her is met with a gift. Gifts like rocks, bugs and flowers. Deceptively natural things— often infused with secret magic.
