One for the #JSA fans: I picked this up from my framer yesterday afternoon - Mike Machlan depicts the Justice Society battling Solomon Grundy, drawn (I think) in the late 1990s, and now hanging on my wall.

Machlan was an exceptional talent, and I'm absolutely delighted to own this.

Belatedly, because I've only just realised what the date is - and in solidarity with our French cousins - happy Bastille Day, and "a bas les aristos"!

I've just walked over to, and back from, the local farmer's market, and in my capacity as Prestwich's Arbiter Of Temperature I am officially declaring it far too hot.

That's my excuse, and I'm sticking to it...

Now that's (a) incredibly obscure and (b) brilliant!

I wonder whether, given his many years on Conan, Roy Thomas (and the right artist) might have been able to turn He-Man into a passable Planet Stories-esque series along the lines of John Carter or Leigh Brackett's Stark stories.

... though I imagine he'd have wanted to change the character's name.

Am I the only person who really wants to read that "lost" Spidey/Living Eraser/Devil Dinosaur story? 😜
