One thing Senator Hickenlooper and Representative Jeff Hurd have in common is that they both have top notch PR people that are experts in reputation laundering.

I bet we start seeing more and more “bipartisan” bills and actions in Congress as Trump loses power. Republicans want to save their asses and Democrats need the two party system to stay in power, so many of them are going to help the republicans launder their reputation.

This would require some bold and ambitious programs. Though completely achievable. But instead, they like focusing on the shiny object of the moment…very frustrating.

They are also continuous acting out of fear and a defensive position. I think this leads them down the path of gun restrictions they think will be effective, but are they just pretty dumb.

Banning hand guns, would hands down be the best way to reduce violent gun crime, accidents, and suicides.
