If you want to win this title, there must come games where the desire to win is greater than the desire to not lose.

We just don't throw enough at these games. Oh maybe you'll lose one every now and then, but one win remains better than two draws.

Alisson being stupid cost the game but Liverpool's inability to keep the ball after they scored was the core reason for City's comeback.

That pass from Trossard to Kai for the second goal is what we all want to see more of from this side. Take risks when you see the opportunities. You have the best defensive spine in the world and they'll recover even if you lose it a couple of times.

That has to be the first clean strike Gyok had since the Leeds home game. When he gets clean strikes inside the box, he scores. The challenge is to get him those shots.

Jesus has been a disappointment. Looks like he's lost that strength and balance which made him so good at holding the ball up. He's not got anything special to start for a league leading side.

This Calafiori looks more like the error-prone one of last season than the assured presence of this season. Need him to go back to the basics and keep it simple.

Absolutely loved it. A back to the basics first half and then a stable start to the second half followed by us blowing Leeds away with our quality. Everything went right - from the set piece goal to the dropped captain showing his quality.

Leeds had a total of 2 touches in our penalty box and zero shots on target. I'd take that all day long.

That was a very good half of football considering the pressure we're under and how good Leeds are at home. We may not have created loads but controlled the game, kept the home crowd down and crucially didn't do anything stupid defensively.

I understand your frustration but when our forwards are also creating/scoring so less, the finger should probably point towards the manager and his lack of balance in the conservatism/risk scale.

Looking back, we don't lose that game 80% of the time but our lack of offensive threat is concerning. We've spent a lot of money on Eze, Gyökeres and Madueke and none have stood out. Our best lineup doesn't include any of them, most probably. That's worrying.

I don't consider him our main creator. He's not a 10 he's an attacking 8.

You're telling me playing Ødegaard with Eze wouldn't improve our chances of scoring more than a Merino would?

Ødegaard and Zubimendi are much better technically than Merino and Eze in terms of control which is what we lacked in the second half.

I'm sorry but this is a crazy rant. 2 weeks back Rice was getting shouts for best itw. One bad game doesn't change that. Ødegaard hasn't been good enough but it's not like his replacement has pulled up trees. What we need is more quality up front and a bit more freedom. That's on the manager.

If you think Ødegaard is like KDB, I think the fault is with you. He's more Bernardo than KDB. I agree he's not been good enough this season but neither has Eze. We need both playing together.

That 4 subs helped create what exactly? We played like it was injury time when we had 40 minutes to compose ourselves and score. The subs took our technical level to the floor.

There has to be a balance. I don't think Mikel or the team has found it. We have to maintain the OOP principles but bend it a bit for players like Eze. But Arteta is Arteta.

Strange to see Ødegaard getting the flak when the replacement was as bad or worse. The manager was at fault more than any player today.

Watch Arteta play the first team against Kairat to instill some belief and confidence.

Take some risks, excite the crowd. Watching Arsenal is like a chore at times. We're methodical, boring and frankly, if I weren't a fan, I'd not waste a minute watching us.

Even when chasing goals, we sub off Ødegaard for Eze, why? Let them combine, get Saka in more, have them all combine, rotate, play one-two's. You cannot be so rigid on your OOP principles at all stages of a football match.

How many minutes have we seen Eze and Ødegaard play together? They're supposed to be the creative fulcrum of the team and how are they supposed to have any chemistry if they simply don't play together.
