I am horrified by the attack on the synagogue in Manchester on our holiest day, Yom Kippur, and the resulting two deaths. May their memories be a blessing.

Wishing the injured full and swift recoveries.

To all Jews - be vigilant, stay safe.

A square graphic image with dark blue rectangle across the top, with the words: My month, Cllr Andrée Frieze, Ham, Petersham & Richmond Riverside, 26 Sep 2025.
In the sage green box underneath are bullet points saying:
> Pushing the Lib Dem Administration to prioritise walking, wheeling and cycling in its new Transport Strategy
> Attended the Richmond Society meeting on the Council's Vision for Richmond Town Centre
> Heard residents’ issues at my regular door knocking session, and took them up with Council officers
> Supported the MegaSkip event in Ham
> Sat on the interview panel for the new Executive Director of Growth and Place
> Continuing to help an RHP tenant with a rat infestation
In the bottom right-hand corner is a head-and-shoulder picture of Andrée Frieze, a 50-something white woman with shoulder-length brown hair, wearing a blue and white floral patterned coat. A Green Party logo sits above her right shoulder.

A recent TfL survey found only 16 per cent of people understand key Highway Code rules designed to keep everyone safe.

So I’m glad to see TfL has taken up my recommendation to address the lack of understanding about road rules in the Highway Code -/-

Green members are allowed to dissent from policy. Yet this is not acceptable to Greens 4 Palestine.

Threats of protest and disruption have silenced Jewish voices for peace within the @greenparty.org.uk.

Not building on floodplains is basic common sense as they’re part of the river.

Every new home must protect people from both flooding and extreme heat.

Like Caroline Lucas, I'm backing Ellie Chowns and Adrian Ramsey to be the next leaders of the Green Party.
I think it's fairer to their constituents for MPs to share the job of leader,
and it's too much work for one person to do both without a lot of help.
