Space Law, Race, and Neurodiversity: Autistic Advocate AJ Link We live in a country & society that is built on racism. The neurodivergent community isn't free of that racism—per Autistic advocate AJ Link.

“As a neurodiversity advocate and as an autistic person, I’m really grateful for so much of the work that’s been done that allows me to be myself and to be successful being myself.” Link, who has been *banned*!?!? from this platform?

I've been on SocMed for 25 years.

If Bluesky implodes I'm just going to start sending postcards to random addresses - and make being a pen-pal cool.

Blue Bells.

Blue Bells.

Spring is springing.
The garden has been neglected and I've been going through one of the most difficult years of my life - these Blue Bells are just here saying "we're made of strong stuff, and we're beautiful"

Attended a freakish grass fire call today...

Wheel came off a trailer and sparks from the wheel hub meeting the bitumen set off two fires along the road verge. 😬

The thing about a traumatic past/childhood is that it kind of disarticulates you from your emotions and it takes me 8-10 business days to understand whether I’m upset, sad, anxious or angry and why and I’m getting better but it’s so weird to feel like this midlife

Grievance-Based Parent Organizations Are Autism's MAGA Movement — THINKING PERSON'S GUIDE TO AUTISM Horrified by the misinformation peddled by MAGA truthers? You should be just as concerned about grievance-based autism parent orgs.

The @nytimes.com has a new article on " #ProfoundAutism," featuring the same grievance parents they always feature—and minimal autistic input. Pls counter with our explanation of why autistic kids deserve better representation than parents who resent them.

Autism is not a disease.
You can’t cure autism.

"Some people don’t care what we want. They want a cure for autism, and they spend a lot of time and money looking for it. This is bad for autistic people. People should spend time and money helping us live good lives."
