I'm seriously disappointed that @nytimes.com coverage of the conversion therapy case centers on Chiles' experience and narrative without consulting a single queer organization or person who survived it. Absolute journalistic malpractice. I can't even justify staying subscribed for Cooking

LGBTQ+ rights and safety are under such constant assault that even the organizations who I volunteered with to advocate for the original bill were unable to spare anything to organize around this case and individual advocacy at SCOTUS is essentially impossible (unless you happen to be a lawyer)

I've spent a lot of the last week debating if and how I should post about this. I hate to add another terrible thing to the collective pile of bad things we're all dealing with, but I've been dealing with this one since March and it's been a very lonely and disempowering experience

On Tuesday (10/7) SCOTUS will be hearing arguments in a case challenging Colorado's conversion therapy ban. As a conversion therapy survivor and advocate for the bill, I'm absolutely devastated that this court is hearing the case and the harm that the wrong decision could inflict on queer youth

Big life update: @shyish.dog asked me to marry him and I said yes.

Growing up queer and without marriage equality, I never envisioned getting married or even having a relationship.

Cooper has changed my life in so many ways and I wouldn't be anything without him. He makes me want to be better.

Finally managed to capture a Toffee hiccup on film. He manages to cure himself after 3-10 of them so I've never been able to pull out my phone in time

Just finished printing a custom Magic card organizer. Took a while and a fair amount of filament but I'm really happy with the final result

Toffee went on a walk today and apparently it's tired him out so much that he's been laying like this for a half hour x3
