COINCIDENCE CORNER 3 October: The Observer contacts Reform UK leader Nigel Farage for comment over why he has not updated his register of interests since May, despite continuing to work second jobs and parliamentary rules requiring interests be declared within 28 days. A spokesperson for Farage responds: “All declarations have been made for any earnings outside of Parliament.” 3 October: Farage registers more than £120,000 of earnings, from making speeches in May and June and presenting shows on GB News in July and August, which he received more than 28 days earlier (ie before 5 September) – meaning he is in breach of parliamentary rules.

The reason that I try and draw attention to this every year is that the UK government still haven't properly funded the clean up the tips nearly 60yrs later. They've extracted resources from Wales for a couple of centuries, bled it dry and dgaf. It should shock people, everyone should be reminded.
