And given the ongoing misuse of law to target political enemies, I believe the definition of "harmful content" will inevitably be used to stifle the voices of minorities such as LGBTQ+ people, and suppress political opposition.

Due to the vagueness of the law and platforms (of all shapes and sizes) being anxious to avoid facing penalties, it could also make it harder to discuss and access information about sensitive topics such as mental illness and abuse.

This law will lock swathes of the internet behind invasive identity checks.

The "harmful content" this act claims to protect against is poorly defined, and threatens open access to Wikipedia, small hobby sites, and content that social media sites deem "mature".
