I think it's particularly generous of Shabana Mahmood to crack down on freedom before Reform need to fight an election.

Farage being authoritarian and wanting to curb free expression could have been something that put voters off of Reform. But now he can just use the existing system.

Which is fine, yeah? Gary's playing his part as a single-issue campaigner, and then others can take on different roles.

He's not claiming to be an expert on broader politics, he's just a guy trying to lobby political parties to tackle inequality.

He's not going to be our saviour.

And that's fine.

That's the best performance I've seen from Starmer since Boris resigned, but it's far from enough.

He talks about the need to defeat Reform, but offers little in the way of a strategy to do that.

Labour still feels directionless and without a clear narrative. We need bolder leadership.

its just not defensible in 2025 for democratic candidates and officeholders not to have a clear position on asserting the equal rights of transgender americans. if you're unwilling, step aside and let a patriot take your place.
