In a world full of terrible role models for young people, I’m so glad there are also smart, joyful and empathetic people like Ms Rachel and Mychal Threets.

This is what Brooks is like. There’s a ton of support here for this move. Getting the needed signatures to actually recall Smith would be a difficult, uphill battle.

I’m absolutely floored that the UCP voted in Bill 2. Part of me wants to mobilize and start a recall petition for DS. Yes I’m in her riding. I also know that her supporters here are a loud and sometimes destructive bunch. I’ll admit it. They scare me.

In an effort to get my steadily climbing A1C numbers down I have embarked on a half-hearted diet that involves me giving up most carbs -my favourite things- which in turn has sapped my will to live. I hate diets and dieting. I totally did this to myself though and now I must suffer. Sort of.

I find myself looking at X more and more. This site is just so American, and while it does affect us in Canada, it’s not the daily commentary I want. I signed up for Gander but then the “we need money” emails started. I might start using x again. At least there I’m not drowning in Trump news.

So we ARE in the time space for recalls. However I just don’t have the energy to take this on. If there is anyone else in Danielle Smiths riding who wants to I’ll help out as much as I am able.

Canada Post is delivering again. One of my parcels that got stuck is tracking as “check back for updates”. This is the same notice I got after Christmas after they “lost” a Michael Kors purse I had ordered for my daughter’s Christmas present. I never received the purse or an explanation.

Alberta high school students organizing a free tutoring service for other high school students is peak activism. Please share far and wide. Many students can benefit from this. And think of the solidarity, community building, and friendship creating opportunities.

I suck at making yorkies. Rachel whips them up like it’s no big deal.
