We have had about 24 kids come by. Pretty good turnout! However, two asked if they could have something different! "Darf ich tauschen? Hast du etwas anderes?" I was stunned. "Um, no." Have things changed? Hey kid, I got pencils and pennies sometimes, and you don't want M&Ms?? WTF?

It's ok. However, yesterday I had an Unterrichtsbesuch in Oldenburg at 7:50am and it took me WAY to long to figure out when I had to get up. Then in the afternoon at a meeting at school every muscle in my body was suddenly tired. The kids are doing amazing! They handle it better than I do.

I have not felt like posting much as the first days back to work after vacation in the U.S. are HARD! But tomorrow I don't teach and on Friday in Niedersachsen we have Halloween (I mean Reformationstag) off. Yeah for the four day weekend!!

We made it to Atlanta yesterday despite the traffic's best effort to slow us down. Got up this morning to a message that our flight is already delayed. We didn't pick up any new Starbucks mugs this trip but did get these beauties at breakfast one morning.

Bye, beach. I hope to see you again soon. However, beach erosion and rising sea levels have meel worried. They are starting beach renewal again... they just did this a few years ago.

I spent the last three months exercising and watching my diet. I lost 5 kilograms. And I am pretty sure I have put it all back on as I am eating all the things! Yesterday was Mexican, plus a dessert café after the ghost walk.
