Anytime someone talks about bean mouths and Calarts, its a clear giveaway that they dont know what theyre talking about.

A very scary bill just passed in Ohio for transgender folks. No one but local LGBTQ+ orgs are talking about it.

First, Ohio is only recognizing sex assigned at birth, male or female. You can get in trouble for stating otherwise on documents, I imagine. I may need to change my state ID back. 1/5

The Wild Robot is one of those rare experiences I have with film where each viewing I feel warm in a different way. The themes of family, the use of animals as characters, the different kinds of parenthood, people.
It reminds me how beautiful life is, and wish more people can have these experiences.

Hearing about what's changed about Lilo and Stitch however, really just makes me think "Yeah I wanna watch the OG. And not the Disney+ OG which too has visual edits because they're Disney they do whatever the heck they want".

I'm reserving any major thoughts until I see the movie myself, but I get it
The edits to Disney remakes have the goal of responding to critiques of the originals, promote brand awareness, and show these are MORE than a cheap cash-in to investors/audiences.
