Another rhetorical fallacy: Trump using a Straw Man to change the subject of diplomacy: “(Zelenskyy,) you’re not in a good position (to be talking about what might happen…) you’re gambling with WW3.” Or maybe that’s deadcatting?

Also, this is an example of how rhetorical fallacies are used to protect Putin’s reputation. Zelenskyy: “(Vance,) you speak of diplomacy and Putin hasn’t been diplomatic.” Vance (using a Red Herring to say, you’re one to talk about diplomacy because) “you’re forcing conscripts to the front line.”

POTUS mentions WW3 which is just ill-foreshadowing of something that’s already been decided & it’s clear he already made up his mind about Ukraine. They were just waiting for an opportunity to argue publicly. I think inviting Zelenskyy to Washington was a set-up.

Vance argues about the importance of actions over words and here we can only see how throwing tantrums and arguing (words) are more important than diplomacy (actions).
