I agree. Finding myself putting space between myself and someone that's causing a lot of interpersonal problems because of how hard they are doubling down on their own issues instead of just apologizing. It's frustrating and adding a lot of unnecessary stress to my life. I'm not even involved in it

I really don't think conflict is that difficult to deal with in many cases. I swear 90% of interpersonal conflicts can be solved by all parties accepting accountability for their part in it and talking things out.
