The Veilguard artbook was so painful for me to read. Especially all of the abandoned storylines, the characters arcs, and all the things that could've been. 😔

A lot of computer science professors are having us take exams in person on paper, or submit code on paper. Now the thing with CS students is they can cheat on all of their projects using AI, but they'll be absolutely cooked in technical job interviews.

I get a lot of people are cheating with LLM tools, but yeah I feel you on this.

One of my professors last year if he suspected a paper was written AI (all the papers were pass/no pass), he'd have us come into his office and explain our thesis and argument.

When I was a lot younger and had more free time, I could grind multiplayer games like League of Legends or Overwatch.

And sometimes I want to play stuff like Marvel Rivals, but with the limited time I have, I just really enjoy single player stories.

Being a full time student, working part time, and streaming, I haven't been able to play a lot of TTRPGs as I'm used to.

But my usual DM invited me to a Call of Cthulhu one shot campaign where he premade our characters.

My character's a Latina in her 40s named Anna Ballestros...with amnesia. 🤔

Just like cardboard boxes for cats. 😌

I have a huge soft spot for games and story where the lore is obscure and you're left in the dark, but slowly piecing stuff together.

I know about the comic series, and am definitely going to dive into it.

This was a fun one! Storywise and mechanically. Although grinding to max out all jobs on Bartz to get the achievement was a bit tedious.

It was a bit annoying having to turn into gnomes or frogs for an entire dungeon sometimes. 😭

Some of them are aware that these AI companions are just algorithms and lines of code made to agree with every whim and desire they put forth, but they feel isolated and just want that bit of affirmation and validation they don't have IRL.

I've actually done a bit of personal research for a class on this very topic. On the outside, our first instinct might be to point and laugh, but a lot of people who turn to AI companionship or intimate partners are often women who suffered abuse, and no longer trust human companionship.

I really hope the sequel releases soon. If not, I'm diving deep into the comics.
