Great photo! We had an injured great horned owl in our yard a few weeks ago. We were able to catch him (with the help of an expert), and off to a wildlife rehabilitator.

I wish someone would wipe that disgusting smirk off his face.

A little birdie told me I missed owl awareness day. Coincidentally, my weekend involved an owl rescue. This great horned owl was injured and couldn’t fly. He’s in a rehab facility, hopefully recovering. Thank you to the volunteer that helped catch it!
