It’s been a long day of bargaining with Vox Media, fighting hard to get a fair contract with better salaries, AI protections, the inclusion of the Dodo in our union, and much more. Come tomorrow, there’s only two days left in our contract — Vox Media, stop dragging your feet.

It was my honor to join my Vox Media Union colleagues in bargaining as they fight for a fair contract. Sites like Vox and the Verge are the last good websites on the internet because of the HUMANS who write and produce the smart, critical content we read, and those humans deserve a fair contract!

i continue to be very concerned about mozilla’s well-being. i imagine the firefox project would be carried on my the FOSS community if need be (but, we’d be kidding ourselves if we think that’s not going to lead to a decrease in quality of life for the service)
