He must be held to account as should those who signed off on contracts that wasted public money.

Thousands died while others partied and profited.

Never forget Never forgive

This is a private prosecution in Spain - does anyone know if extradition requests can still be issued in such cases?

Ambleside illegal fox-hunting probe sees further arrests A total of 12 men have now been arrested as part of the investigation.

12 arrests so far after savage, sociopathic behaviour filmed by @huntsabs.org.uk in Cumbria. Illegal hunting has recently been announced as a UK wildlife crime priority (welcome news, long overdue). If arrests turn into charges, these will be interesting test cases.

Nathan Gill; A traitor who was at the very top of Reform UK, aiding and abetting Russian adversaries, has been sentenced today.

Reform UK should be ashamed. Britain deserves better.

Some notable things in what's being called the "Trump peace plan" but which could not have been more clearly written in Moscow if it came with a 2 for 1 deal on tickets to the Bolshoi Ballet. 🧡

The whole draft agreement is full of economic sweeteners for the US and focused on the future development of US-Russia economic ties. This is what Trump keeps coming back to when he talks about the end of the war, so is presumably aimed at keeping him happy.

Little wonder when garden centers and supermarkets are full of pesticides for β€œgardeners” to spray around. Should be banned. Also need to tackle agricultures dependence on these chemicals.

Cryptocurrency backed by Farage donor is used for Russian war effort, investigators say Tether tokens found to facilitate scheme that enables sanctions evasion and launders money for the Kremlin

It never stops.
The grubby donations. The profiteering. The lobbying. The lies.
β€œIn 2019-20, as the UK was leaving the EU, Harborne gave Β£10m to Nigel Farage’s Brexit party, since renamed Reform UK.”
They make damn sure they get what they want.
We get screwed.

New report on gamebird releases in Cairngorms National Park doesn’t tell even half the story In spring 2025, news emerged that the GWCT (Game & Wildlife Conservation Trust) was going to be conducting a pilot study to look at the number of non-native gamebirds (Pheasants & Red-legge…

New report on gamebird releases in Cairngorms National Park doesn't tell even half the story.

Study included less than half (45%) of estates rearing & releasing non-native gamebirds. MSPs need to interpret results cautiously & appropriately.

He’s a greedy grifter with no principles but wants to be portrayed as religious. He’s very much your typical Reform candidate.

One was a result of predation but I think there simply wasn’t enough food for the second brood. We used to have healthy numbers of fledgling black birds. Hope next year is better

Same as UK though and we’re lagging behind EU in banning certain pesticides because of the uk farming lobby

We should never forgive him or those who voted for him. A callous, self serving liar who should never had held any position in public office. A disgrace.

Neither do I. Between the virus, huge decline in insect numbers, and drought affecting them this year we’ve not seen many (and the pair in spring that did nest failed twice to raise any young) πŸ™

To be clear, I’m not anti RSPB (I’m a life fellow member and volunteer with my local group) and I do appreciate what they do and understand they are constrained by funding. I like to see large charities such as RSPB & the National Trust take advantage of their considerable reach.

They could still present the facts to their members and the wider public to raise awareness that these practices are environmentally damaging.

Latest BirdTrack data show Woodcock arriving en masse over the the last fortnight. Sadly, Woodcock are prone to colliding with buildings while they migrate. If you find a dead Woodcock in these circumstances, please add the record to BirdTrack or email details to woodcock@bto.org

RSPB sit on many gov working groups so do have influence beyond their own reserves. An ex employee told me that the problem with RSPB is that it’s more interested in gift shops and cafes than acting for birds (a reflection of the priorities of many of their members unfortunately)

Both the poultry industry and game bird industry have direct and significant impacts on biodiversity- and RSPB claim to campaign for nature. So regardless of animal welfare issues they should be calling it out and using their influence.

The RSPB - who do next to nothing to challenge intensive poultry farms or game bird releases.

Indeed but I thought perhaps the organisations themselves could also consider how they meet the nature targets of the Scottish and Welsh Governments. I suppose the devolved nations could set up groups too but it seems like unnecessary duplication.

Good to see but surely these organisations should do UK wide plans (but broken down to country level too) Many of the orgs are uk wide afterall.

I’ve seen this in gannet colonies, but wondered are any other birds affected in the same way? ( Obviously it’s more noticeable in bird species with pale iris)

Our pilots patrol remote areas to spot signs of illegal activity, track snared or injured wild animals, and guide ground teams to elephant orphans needing rescue. The Unit provides perspective and rapid response, ensuring help can be dispatched quickly, safeguarding the animals and the Keepers.

Below is a collage of many old party and social-event photos showing a well-dressed man with various people, including another man who resembles Jeffrey Epstein. The photos show them smiling, talking, and posing with different groups of women and men.
At the bottom is another embedded tweet from β€œAcyn @Acyn” with a video thumbnail of a suited man at a desk. The tweet text reads: β€œTrump: But they were with Epstein all the time. I wasn’t. I wasn’t at all.”
