Out of every photo I took during Denver’s No Kings protest last Saturday (June 14, 2025). I feel this photo sums up the state of our country right now… This photo lives in the front of my mind as I watch this country spiral into fascism. I’m seriously considering fleeing at this point…

People close to me have asked if I was scared when police began launching tear gas. In short… no. I feel that in this moment I have a duty to document as much as I can and share it with the world. For some reason… I do really well in these intense situations…

Saturday June 14, 2025: Protesters in Denver took to the streets. Protests remained mostly peaceful until Denver PD declared the protest an unlawful assembly. On the ground protestors stood toe to toe with riot officers before they deployed tear gas and pepper balls.

The administration is removing phone support for Soc Security recipients. Making it more difficult for seniors to get their checks. It’s a back door way to cut SS benefits. Horrific.
