this book is giving me immeasurable relief from some dull narrative non-fiction im slogging through at the moment. star trek, glass people, iris wildthyme and twenty questions.

cant ask for more than that

its so nice to hear a more favourable outlook of this season as i quite enjoyed it. the negative reception overall of rtd2 has soured me a lot on wider fandom a bit. i reckon we get a major reappraisal in 5-10 years

definitely, condensing the origin by having mark gatiss tell it to me was nice and let us get to new territory on film.

my main gripe was how quick the globe was willing to accept we weren’t giving up this kid. FUCK THAT KID! surprised there wasnt a scene of someone trying to steal him away tbh.

spiderman is stuck in a time loop of the same action sequence for 2 and a half hours and has to engineer his escape somehow. even the mcu is feeling the ever restricting hand of a limited budget no matter how big

just watched the new War of the Worlds on amazon prime

jesus that was shit. the editing gave me a migraine on top of it being for an ad for amazon and calling for a surveillance state stronger than is already in place.

potentially worst film ive seen this decade

world enough and time / the doctor falls - a great story but set a precedent for fans to expect the show to perform intense fanwankery for the rest of eternity. when the show decided rightfully not to do this, fandom threw its cyberman dapol figure out of the pram and have cried for nearly a decade
