world enough and time / the doctor falls - a great story but set a precedent for fans to expect the show to perform intense fanwankery for the rest of eternity. when the show decided rightfully not to do this, fandom threw its cyberman dapol figure out of the pram and have cried for nearly a decade

agreed, the worst new adventure imo was Warlock by Andrew Cartmel exactly because its was so dull it was torment to finish

i’ve personally just stuck to rereading the comics as i already owned them before Gaiman was revealed to be the nasty fucker he is. i can galavant through those issues as many times as i like until the sun explodes without him getting a penny (i’ll probably skip the Calliope issue from now on tho)

from what i know (very little), Gaiman wasn’t involved in s2 as much as he was in s1. i know he sold the rights to The Sandman to DC so he doesn’t profit off the IP just as his role as exec producer. i reckon he still gets royalties for that position unless Netflix found a way to cut him out.

Wish World/Reality War - so inoffensive all i can remember is a rip off of wandavision for 45 minutes and the rani being gobbled up being really funny. however the scene with Ncuti and Verada at the end is beautiful and it wasnt until he was gone that i realised how much i liked him as the doctor
