The encumbrance mechanic in #Starfield seems to have no function other than to make me waste real-world time.

(This could probably be applied to any single player game with an encumbrance mechanic that's tied to inventory weight.)

Like Fallout 4, Starfield is greater than the sum of it's parts. What frustrates me is outweighed by the game always giving me something new to do & the promise of storylines that will let me play out the roles of Explorer, Lawperson, Pirate, & more.

- So. Many. Glitchy. Bugs. Some very serious (my ship's armory will delete weapons that you hang on the racks, so this space is essentially unusable).

- There seems to be no gameplay purpose for restricting inventory/resources other than forcing the player to slow down - not a good reason IMO. The micromanaging required is the most unfun bit (this is true of most games with inventory management, BTW).
