3. Pictures were the most popular format. In addition, we identified several cases in which information manipulators promoted AI-generated videos or photos.

Three takeaways:
1. The majority of false information narratives focused on criticizing candidates, then misrepresenting policies, raising doubts about the integrity of the election, and instilling fear about the election's outcome if a particular candidate won.

The analysis encompasses 40 claims collected from fact-checking reports by three major Taiwan fact-checking organs: TFC, Asia Fact Check Lab, and Mygopen.
