This is 100% true. If you live in NYC, you should join your local community board — right now they’re much richer, older, whiter, more conservative, and more likely to be drivers+homeowners than the communities they represent.

That distorts our politics on every issue, especially housing.

We’re totally off Google suite, Google docs, Drive, Calendar.

We’re using Signal and Element for chat, Nextcloud for docs, etc

Planning to publish a “how to” guide for other nonprofits and activist groups soonish.

I don't know why the world stopped supporting me and my children. We are still suffering here. We are homeless. My children are cold every day.💔

Yeah, Cecil's 14, and was already missing a few teeth when I adopted him 12 years ago. (He was rescued from a bad home situation.) So he's been doing pretty good in that time, still enjoying his crunchy food, but now his teeth are just worn down 🥲

With trembling hearts, we found no place to warm the hearts of these innocent children, shivering from the torrential rains that swept away our tents. My brothers and neighbors, we were all drowned, and this silent world has left us to die of cold.😭💔
